Our experience with AmChamSpain is very positive. I would highlight its proactivity and its closeness in understanding the problems of Spanish companies, with the aim of improving its competitiveness and internationalization. Its structure in different committees is very efficient, and they organize very interesting events in different areas, with top-level speakers, who also offer the possibility of expanding the network of contacts and sharing experiences with other members. Taraneh Tahbaz, Public Affairs and Corporate Communication, American Express The work of the Chamber to help organize meetings and promote communication between authorities and relevant members of the different administrations with member companies, both Spanish and American with a presence in our country, has provided interesting opportunities and knowledge for all. In recent years, American Express, as an active member of some of the specialized committees formed by the Chamber, such as the Tourism Committee, the Digital Economy Committee and the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, has allowed us to take advantage of an exchange of experiences and enriching ideas, obtaining in turn an opportunity to further strengthen our relations with the Chamber’s member companies.

Helena Herrero

President of HP Spain

We congratulate AmChamSpain for strengthening the transatlantic bond that so much prosperity has brought to our country. I only wish AmChamSpain 100 more years at least in that fruitful work and in that cooperation between both countries for that innovation, that quality employment and that progress.

Marina Fuentes Arredonda

CEO, United Way España

UNITED WAY was born in the United States 133 years ago and since the very first day, it´s work was possible due to the partnership and support of the American companies. When UNITED WAY was founded in Spain in May 2016, one of the first decisions that was made was to join AmChamSpain since it is where almost all the partners of UNITED WAY in the United States are grouped. It just couldn´t be any other way. Four years later, this collaboration and continuous support from AmChamSpain is what, without a doubt, is making our work grow and move forward the common good in Spain in a more organic and impactful way. The support that we receive on behalf of the CSR Committee is key for us: we gather together regularly with our collaborators, develop actions with great social impact effectively…there´s a long list. Thank you AmChamSpain!

Enrique Jiménez

Executive Director, Philip Morris Spain

Since 1983, the year in which Philip Morris joined AMCHAM Spain, our company has witnessed the important contribution and evolution of the entity in Spain through our participation on its Board of Directors and in several of its committees that deal with topics as relevant as innovation, industrial property or taxation. These working groups, which address different key issues for business development, pool the different points of view of the members and sectors represented, creating an enriching environment and in which common strategic plans are developed to benefit the productive fabric of both countries. The work of the Chamber fosters understanding, collaboration and the exchange of initiatives between companies with interests in both countries.

Roberto Martínez

Director, Fundación Másfamilia

Being part of the most influent network of companies with interests in both, USA and Spain, has been a great challenge for FUNDACIÓN MÁS FAMILIA. When we learn about the Chamber, it was clear for us, since we wanted to share, contrast, analyze and generate synergies regarding social responsibility, people management and conciliation with the different organizations and committees that are part of it. We have also been able to evolve together, both AmChamSpain and Más Familia within the continuous improvement of our organizations and mutual feedback. This great experience deserves these words and more. Go ahead!
