Assertiveness is an important social skill in the professional realm. Knowing how to communicate assertively has many benefits, including increased self-confidence as well as the ability to deal with and solve problems or conflicts constructively.
Assertive communication promotes a culture of respect, empathy, and honesty. This has a very positive impact on relationships and the work environment, increasing motivation and commitment.
To refresh our assertiveness skills, on March 22 and 24 we held the workshop 'Assertive Skills Development' led by Management Center Europe (MCE), a leading provider of professional development programs and belonging to the global American Management Association (AMA) network.
