On October 19, the Kick Off of our mentoring program for women "Moving Upwards with AmChamSpain", promoted by our Diversity Committee in collaboration with the Mentoring Network Spain, took place at the headquarters of Uría Menéndez.

 

During the session, led by Julio Rodríguez Díaz, Director of Red de Mentoring España, mentors and mentees had the opportunity to learn about mentoring techniques and explore how they can help them achieve their professional goals.

 

The program's objective is to guide high-potential women to access top-level positions in their organizations, benefiting from the relationship established with top mentors in U.S. and Spanish multinationals.

 

With this program, AmChamSpain aims to contribute to reduce the gender gap in our business network, as well as to promote female talent among our members. In addition, it also wants to strengthen and define the leadership style of women who want to grow professionally, either to ascend to a senior management position or to develop professionally within their sector, and draw a roadmap that allows them to achieve the goal that each of the mentored women has set for herself.
