Last Tuesday, July 4th, we celebrated the 247th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States, together with our friends and colleagues from NYYC American Magic, challenger of the 37th America's Cup.
The event began with a welcome from our President, Jaime Malet, NYYC American Magic Team Captain and President of Sailing Operations, Terry Hutchinson, and US Consul General, Katie Stana.
They all highlighted the importance and the unique opportunity that the America's Cup is bringing to Barcelona, both economically and culturally. In addition, they highlighted the role that this type of event plays in strengthening ties between Spain and the United States.
