Former Executive President of Burson Cohn&Wolfe

Carmen Valera is a corporate communications and issues management consultant with experience advising C-level national and multinational companies. 
She was Executive President of Burson Cohn&Wolfe (BCW), a company created in 2018 by the merger of two WPP Group companies, Burson Marsteller and Cohn&Wolfe, and President of Burson Marsteller prior to the merger. She served on the European boards of both firms. 
In her more than 30 years of professional experience, Valera has advised clients responsible for setting corporate strategy in marketing and reputation communication practices and has led consulting projects for companies in the tourism, luxury, financial, FMCG and technology sectors.
She has served as president of the Public Relations Jury of the El Sol Advertising Festival and as a member of the Jury of the PR Lions Awards at the Cannes Festival and the Sabre Awards, the world's leading events in the communications and marketing industry.
She is currently a member of the Honorary Board of the HazLoPosible Foundation.
She holds a PADE from IESE Business School.
