On June 2, our Health Committee held a new meeting in Madrid, hosted by our member company IBM, with the goal of reflecting on the future of the healthcare sector and the key role IBM technologies play in building a more innovative, sustainable, and people-centered health system.

 

The session began with welcome remarks from Carlos Murillo, President of Pfizer and Co-Leader of our Health Committee, together with Ana Gobernado, General Manager of IBM Consulting.

 

Next, Daniel Navas-Parejo (Partner & Public Sector Leader, IBM Consulting), Haig A. Peter (Manager and Department Head, IBM Innovation Studio & Think Lab Europe), and Oriol Viaplana (Partner, IBM Consulting) shared their insights on how technology is transforming healthcare both now and in the future.

 

The event concluded with a rich exchange of ideas among attendees and a networking session.
