In response to the exceptional and especially complicated situation derived from Covid-19, the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain (AmChamSpain) made a series of decisions regarding the Chamber's billing during 2020.

 

One of those decisions was to offer member companies the option of making a donation of a percentage of their fee to four charities with which AmChamSpain had collaborated in the past and which are today especially relevant for the most vulnerable Spanish families.

 

Aida Casamitjana, Executive Director and Jaime Malet, AmChamSpain's Chairman, met on June 9 with the highest representatives of the entities receiving the donation: Ayuda en Acción, Cáritas, Federación Española de Bancos de Alimentos (FESBAL) and Save the Children.

 

This charitable action is intended to be one more reminder of that generous effort on the part of our partner companies and a reason to highlight our commitment, as an independent and private entity, to continue working together with our partners for a better future.
