| Founded in 1917, is a nonprofit association of both Spanish and American businesses and businessmen, dedicated to the promotion of commercial, economic and industrial relations between Spain and the United States.
The Chamber benefits from close relationships with the administrations of both countries but is totally independent, supported exclusively by member's dues.

May 11-16th, 2008. Spain-US Business Development Mission to the State of Texas. Spanish companies in several sectors –among them Energy, Life Sciences, Information Technologies and Food- will visit Texas, touring three main cities (Dallas, Austin and Houston), and interacting with the state’s main business development institutions, research centres and especially potential business partners. The mission should result in an increase in the presence of Spanish companies in Texas, which ranks third among US states in attraction of FDI. Specifically the mission will promote: Direct investments by Spanish companies, Joint ventures with US companies,Import-Export-Distribution, Exchange of know-how and Licensing agreements.
