César Cernuda has led NetApp’s integrated go-to-market organization since July 2020. The team’s mission is to deliver on the NetApp promise of meeting customers wherever they are on their digital transformation journeys by delivering the superior products, specialist skills, and services they need to architect, build, and manage their data fabrics.
 
With a long track record of strong results and a commitment to building diverse, high-performing teams, Cernuda is driving consistency and simplicity across NetApp’s entire go-to-market ecosystem, which consists of worldwide sales, marketing, services, and customer success. He is also helping expand partnerships with major cloud providers and other strategic partners to reinforce NetApp’s position as a key enabler of digital transformation for enterprise organizations.
 
For more than 25 years, Cernuda has launched and grown companies in a variety of international markets, spearheading teams in sales, marketing, and product development. He joined NetApp following a long career at Microsoft, where he served as president of Microsoft Asia Pacific, president of Microsoft Latin America, and global corporate vice president of the brand. At Microsoft, Cernuda was instrumental in accelerating the company’s transformation for the mobile-first, cloud-first era. Having walked in the shoes of NetApp’s enterprise customers who are undergoing their own digital transformations, he brings a customer-centric perspective to all he does as president.
 
Cernuda is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program and the Program for Management Development at IESE Business School – University of Navarra, and he also completed the Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from ESIC Business & Marketing School.
 
Cernuda is a Non-executive director at Gestamp, an international organization dedicated to the automotive industry; also named Chairman of their newly created ESG committee.
