MISSION
- Represent and defend the interests of US companies in Spain doing business with Spain vis-à-vis the Spanish and European authorities (through ECCAC) through white papers and direct contact with public officials.
- Increase US investments in and exports to Spain, making Spain the natural destination for US companies in Europe and the world. In order to achieve this, AmCham Spain “sells” Spain in the US and serves as intermediary between local and US interests by promoting collaboration agreement, joint ventures, partnerships, etc.
- Increase Spanish investments in and exports to the US and increasing Spanish companies' level of confidence in and knowledge of the largest market in the world.
- Represent the interests of Spanish investors and exporters in the US vis-à-vis the US authorities, both in Spain (the US Embassy and Consulate) and the US (the AmCham is an accredited lobby in Washington).
- Increase the visibility and good name of US business in the comunity.
- Improve the exchange of scientific know-how and technology between the two countries.
- Provide information to our members on the US economy and bilateral relations.
- Act as a permanent networking platform for our Members.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Spain, founded in 1917, is a nonprofit association of both Spanish and American businesses and businessmen, dedicated to the promotion of commercial, economic and industrial relations between Spain and the United States.
The Chamber benefits from close relationships with the administrations of both countries but is totally independent, supported exclusively by member's dues.
The Chamber is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. and of the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce.
